Veggie Grill Steakhouse Burger

I was traveling to pick up some food at Samosa House and realize, after getting there, the one I was going too was closing, Samosa House has great vegetarian and vegan options.

One of the good things about living in southern California is there was a Veggie Grill 50 yards away. I decided to get dinner there and see what was new at Veggie Grill. I had looked a few times at the menu online and there are a few things I wanted to try out. They have a few different burgers and a few new bowls. After a few minutes, I decided I was gonna try out the 'Steakhouse Burger'.

One of the cool things about living in southern California is there are events always happening. On Nov. 11, 2018 the 2018 Long Beach Vegan Sweets Con was here. I have not been to many vegan events, since this was nearby, I would go see what was happening. The general admission was $10.00, after taxes and fees it was like $12 and some change.

If you live in Southern California there are a few great options for a Vegan Taco Tuesday. Where I live, it's not at a restaurant, but at a grocery store called Lazy Acres.

Lazy Acres Long Beach

Lazy Acres has a hot cafe, which gets updated everyday and on Tuesday they have some 'fishless' tacos that are pretty good.

The other day I was reading that Veggie Grill will be offering something called "The Holiday Feast" for Thanksgiving. This will feed 4 adults for $74.95.

According to Veggie Grill, "The Holiday Feast includes: stuffed holiday roast, cornbread stuffing, green bean casserole, mashed yams, cauli-mashed potatoes, porcini gravy and cranberry sauce. Additional sides and pumpkin cakes are available for purchase. Happy feasting!"

Vegan Halloween Candy 2018

Submitted by admin on Sat, 10/13/2018 - 13:31

It's that time of year again, Halloween. I always enjoyed Halloween, but since being vegan, I thought I might have to give up some of the treats, but after doing some research, there exist a list of vegan candies that are pretty good. Here is the list I currently have for 2018:

1. Swedish Fish Candy

I really like these, I bought a bag of them and pretty much went through them. Some people don't like them much, but I had to slow down on eating these, they are pretty addicting.
